Extended server "maintenance" on old-school
Re: Extended server "maintenance" on old-school
DuckDNS.org is a 100% free service that has a client you can install on the server that auto-updates the IP address of the hostname.
Re: Extended server "maintenance" on old-school
They do offer a small app that will update the IP for you at regular intervals.atom0s wrote:no-ip.com does not offer a DynDNS setup that auto-updates your registration info for the redirect. You have to manually update it if it changes.

Not sure if some people have thought to check here for the server IP. Haven't seen some of the regulars since the move.
Can someone update the wiki?

Edit:
Also noticed the roster.php and ah.php pages don't seem to work any more, even with the new IP address.

I noticed that too, I tried to point my mail traffic back to my server. Cox blocks the well-known portsxipies wrote:Not sure if some people have thought to check here for the server IP. Haven't seen some of the regulars since the move.

if you use https://174.69.135.116/roster.php and https://174.69.135.116/ah.php then it'll work. Just accept the security warning (it's using a self-signed certificate)
