I went to join the cloth crafting guild today and it wont let me join. So are all crafting guilds this way? and if they are, are you still able to turn in items to raise your cap? Thanks in advance.

you dont have to do the quest to raise your cap

crafting guilds currently wont let you join but you can buy some items from the guild merchant for large amounts of gil

So if you dont have to do the quest, how do you raise the cap?
