So on 7/23/2012, SE did a client update that's supposed to be laying the foundation for a planned revamp of the client. The revamp will most likely cause us some difficulties, but that's not my main concern at the moment.
Has anyone really been far even as decided to use even go want to do look more like?
Or rather, has anyone checked if the update breaks FFXI-Boot/mXI?
Oh yes. Bunch of new content and Job Abilities coming down the pipe. Expect those to potentially cause problems.

The 7/23 update is fine, a number of us updated (including me and a few developers) and there are no adverse effects.
From what limited knowledge I have on their plans for the UI revamp, I don't think it'll affect us much, but will probably mess with Windower (and therefore mXI) because of the plugins. We'll just have to see!
