iRC

I can't connect to iRC through the link on the DS home page anymore. Tells me "Couldn't connect to remote server."
Did something change?

Nothing has changed. That webchat is operated by rizon, the owners of the irc network we are using, so we have no control over it. You can use any IRC client to chat, though.

I had trouble with the linked IRC webchat client too but I've found one that works.
Try this one:
