Dat mods

I was wanting to add the dat mods from the old windower website, it would change things such as my cursor and the menu sound effects etc. I was wondering if anyone knows if that will mess up my game in stall and my ability to play on a private server. I basically want to know if anyone has tried it already so I don't do it and then realize I need to dump and reinstall everything again.

No it won't if you install them correctly (that's a big hint to follow their instructions)
