Deprecated Darkstar fourms

Trying to login like i normally do. However, i immediately get the following message when starting Ashita v2 client:

"Failed to Inject into Playonline"

Any ideas as to why im getting this message? Ive updated through POL. That didnt help.

did you update ashita too?

How do you update ashita client? Is there a link/set of guidelines you can point me to? I only know how to update ffxi file through POL

It updates automatically when you run the launcher if the maintainer has updated it. I don't use Ashita so I don't know if it's been updated yet

Im able to login now. Had to download new MSVC 2015 runtime from microsoft. Now that im in game though my characters are showing up as chocobos and my names are cut in half.... Also servo isnt working. Hmm wonder what i did wrong

you updated your client before the server updated, which you should never do

I fixed that packet earlier today, and I don't know of any other issues yet.. so maybe whasf will update soon, I can't say
