Error 3322

hello i just intalled FFXI and made all config for play it and now after creating my character i have this message error write in JP 3322 wierd i dont knnow what i can do thanks for your help

I'd just like to say I'm running into the same problem. POL says it and FFXI are up-to-date.
I've tried different character names just in case. Any help would be appreciated.

There is plenty of testing to do!

Servers I've tried:
50.56.176.250
70.226.47.154
46.38.63.32

Tried both loaders
mXI and ffxi boot

P.S. next step for me is reinstall, just trying to avoid hours of updating.

1) Troubleshooting forum. srsly. It's only good manners to post in the right forum to begin with.

2) Error 3322 is a very general error, so there's not a single, fool-proof solution.
tl;dr - No magic bullet. Keep trying things.

If you can't connect to any servers, read back through the client setup guide extremely carefully, and make sure you followed every step.
- If you used the "download a zip and unpack it" method instead of the official updater, you still have to run the file check through POL to tidy up afterward.
- Make sure you copied the data folder. Again, it's just a case of checking that you didn't miss a detail.

If you can connect to other servers, but not your own.
- Check that your server isn't behind a firewall/security suite/router that's blocking connections, and that your ports are properly opened.
- login_server.conf and map_server.conf can use 127.0.0.1 for the SQL connection only. All other IP addresses must be your computer's internal IP (probably 192.168.x) for a home-network-only server, or your external IP address (not 192.168.x, see whatismyip.com) for a server that other people can connect to. That includes the zoneip in the database.

hello thanks for your anwser my friends is actually playing and he gave me his pass and ID i can log in and play with his character and i gave him my ID and pass and its same he can not creat new character same on his account can not creat mule its look like the serveur do not allow anymore player in ! anyway i will keep trying and tell you if i find a solution thanks for all

if you want to create a character first you need to copy the "data" folder from C:\Program Files (x86)\PlayOnline\SquareEnix\PlayOnlineViewer if you haven't done so. Copy "data" folder to C:\Program Files (x86)\PlayOnline\SquareEnix\FINAL FANTASY XI. If it still give a you a error after creating a character that means the name is taken.
I just created a new char and it works fine.
