settings.lua

Post by Xephyr » Wed May 21, 2014 8:51 pm

Is this file not working for anyone else? Or is there a list of which functions do not work? I changed the starting gil value, but I was still starting with 1 gil. I was hoping to lock out other expansions until my group gets through each preceding story, but since the gil setting isn't working I am assuming the lockout functions are also not working. Unless there are individual options within that file that do not work.

Also, the Abyssea and add-on images are all translucent, is there a way to activate these items? Or would I have to link up my old legitimate POL ID for them to work? (i'm using the setup guide suggested 123456 account atm).

The gil setting works fine for me?

If off in setting.lue, that expansion ceases to work in game. There is also have a lot not coded yet even if set to on.

And the expansion on/off control's don't effect the icon being lit up just so you know.

login_darkstar.conf setting (in decimal format, so convert your bitmask into dec after flipping bits for what you want enabled).

Cool, I was able to enable the icons.

I have rebooted the server. Not sure why the gil settings isn't working. I'm going to play around with it a bit and see if I get anywhere. There were a few settings I really want working from settings.lua, so hopefully I just fat-fingered something and catch my mistake.

they should all work - if they don't someone should fix them so that they do (or remove them i guess)

I had fat fingered it, so it was my bad. I was able to get the gil setting to work now. Off to the next configuration!
