help please very easy
so i followed dsp guide to making server i have done that it runs on localhost and even internal ip , but when i switch to public ip address i cannont find the server ?
i am using my tower and trying to connect off same tower i have a laptop just still download ffxi on it

just need to set zone_settings ip field to external ip, conf files can stay as localhost

thats my problem i use navicat i run with external ip and it seems to do nothing

i feel stupid keep localhost on the .ini setting ty for the help tho i know im online for others also because zone ip is set as external others use the ip to join right ?

i still keep getting 3001 , i know my chara still isnt logged in any insight as to why it is having hard time connecting.
is it because its from the same pc?
