Gain access to the adventuring Fellow NPC. Working on a private server of my own, for me and my wife. Everything is retail spec, so I'd like to be able to use the NPC to assist us.

It isn't. It would need to be scripted in order to work.

The good news is, at least from my understand, that kj is working on redoing the AI, which may make it possible to have the Adventure Fellow scripted after completion.
Well, from what I understand. Maybe he will chime in here to correct me or verify this.
