Server Connection Issues from LAN or Localhost

Sorry for the delay in response. I had to put my project on hold for a bit for various reasons.

In regards to fnx's question, I am using Norton Security Suite (provided by Xfinity Comcast) Anti-Virus software on all of my machines.

As far as getting the server to work as a localhost, I had no success. Perhaps I'll return to that issue just for grins and giggle but, once I figured out my issue with the IP address range, I had much more success using a machine as a dedicated server and connecting with the client as my gaming rig.

I ended up having to do a complete reinstall of the operating system on the client machines to get everything working again. I am still of the impression that a windows update borked something in ffxi.
