I get this problem after I have logged in on mXI, and then it proceeds to open FF, and then this error pops up

" marks process modified by detours technology has stopped working"

There was a post about it on the last forms ( I googled it ) but there's no way for me to look at it, can anyone assist me?

Looks like it's related to the build_100 error.

Delayedlaw fixed it by "redownloading the ffxipatch file" and re-updating his client.

Also, make sure that the client version is correct in your INI file (NA/EU/JP.)

Oh, okay I'll try that.

But I'm not sure what file is the "ffxipatchfile".

I went to tehkrizz.net and clicked on client download, but I don't see "ffxipatchfile" /:

I fixed it!

I uninstalled everything, FFXI+expansions, and POL.
then restarted the computer, and reinstalled everything.
I did install some of the patches, but then when I went back to check my files in POL, I only checked FFXI.
After than I installed mXI, put the server info in and it was working. (: hope this helps other players who had the same problem as I did.

I just got the whole thing up and running, and just ran into this issue, i get on MXI, type in the stuff, says Ive connected, then just stops working.
I uninstalled everything and reinstalled, followed the guide lines to the T.
after 8 HOURS of updating, again, the same shit happens.
what do world? I have the biggest craving to play this game, but im slowly losing interest due to all these problems :/


Sidenote - Im join the Retribution Server for FFXI becuase its the only one I've seen.
If theres a more populated server out there, pllleaasse let me know, I have a few mates that would love to join me. Thanks in advance.

in the case where you really want to use mxi, disable addons, make sure mxi folder isn't in ffxi folder, keep trying because it *always* crashes 4 or 5 times before it lets you play

Hey mate, Thanks for the suggestion, I downloaded Ashita and gave that a shot.
ran into a problem of when i try load any server, it says
"failed to read playonline path from registry"

Now it may be important to mention that my FFXI is on steam, the ultimate collections abyessa edition. could that be the problem of all these headaches?
I tried MXI with the mind set that it'll fail 5 or 6 times.
failed 20 in a row so im gonna go ahead and assume somethings not right with it D:

If anybody could throw another quick suggestion i'll appericate it

Also before i forget, i tried used the pol boot thingy to see.

Possibly due to the language of your PlayOnline. Check the forums around here for an upated ffxi-boot that fixes this problem.
