wrong
Kalmado wrote:Store TP: Does not seem to work at all.
also wrong

true, link is done by radius (aka sound) because nobody bothered to fix it yet

as for the other questions, not sure. bhaflau thickets i wouldn't worry about since we don't really focus on toau yet, so stuff there is very likely not right

Kalmado wrote:Does R238 sound familiar? To be candid, I'm not familiar with coding and the likes. I do my best to provide in game testing for our GMs/coders. As far as sTP, the testing we did was around 5 weeks ago. I had taken a break since then, but upon my return I'm told sTP still does not work correctly. We use FfxiCalculator for sTP and double check on paper if needed. I haven't hopped on Sam since I've been back, but either today or tomorrow I'll try and retest sTP and also WS modifiers.
i assume somewhere around 2338, then, since 238 is very very old :p I fixed store TP merits in 2423, almost a month ago

from what i remember, sinister skies didn't update past that because of the december 6th client update, which changed a bunch of packet stuff and .dat lists, due to conflicting with whatever they added. not 100% on that, because i don't know anything about sinister skies

not really sure what to tell you, though. if what i think about the revisions is true, sinister skies is so far behind that there's no way for you to know if a bug you find is fixed already or not (as is the case with store TP and wsc)

ill just through this out there, SS has its own rev numbering system and dose not correspond to DSP rev numbering, and yes the server hasn't been merged in with DSP since about DSP rev 2270.

SS has a lot of modifications that make it difficult to keep synchronized with Darkstar, and the last time I checked their code was not publicly available, so while you could make modifications to the Darkstar code and submit them the usual way, it may take a long time for them to show up on SS due to the very involved update process they have to go through in order to keep the custom content and bring the server up to date with our version.

The kind of work it would take to consistently keep SS up-to-date with our code would require one or two paid programmers to work on full-time because of how rapidly our versions change, and how drastic some of the mechanics changes can be.

Kalmado wrote:Yesterday I tested WS mods and sure enough there was a 12.3% increase from stacking straight Attack instead of the true Mod(used a dex based WS). I was told yesterday we're looking to get more in line with DSP, but it's a process and will take time. Like I said, cool community and free play so I'm good. :)
this will entirely depend on what you're attacking and how much attack vs dex you have

and what WS you're using

and how lucky you are (12.3%? over how many weaponskills? are you reading some kind of output or just using weaponskills and recording numbers? )

and your expected output is what? did you calculate it? do you know more than "i don't think it's right"?

200 attack is a huge difference, especially since blade: metsu does not have an attack bonus parameter

kalmado you should join the ds test server it will always have the latest update and fixes with that said you will enjoy the game a lot more than playing on a server that's outdated.
