New to the forums, great project.

I've been having this same problem as of about 6:15pm PST. Everything has been working perfectly for the past two weeks before now. Hopefully it's not just me.

You can try resolving the IP address and connecting directly to that if you are using a dns name to connect.

Just chiming in to report a similar problem. I can get as far as the selecting my character before it kicks me. Here's the error in full:

Error code: FFXI-3305
Unable to connect to world server.
Specified operation failed.

I've tried fiddling with my router - rebooting, renewing it, manually pulling the power for a minute - but nothing seems to fix it. I'm connecting to the server's IP (87.208.194.76). Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. I've been really enjoying this server and the amount of work put into it, so anything I can do to help solve this problem will be gladly provided.

Edit: Nevermind, seems the international server experienced a crash and an admin is not available yet to restart. Thanks for the replies anyways!
