It's not meant to be a play server, it's a test server so we can find and fix bugs.

With that being said, I might wipe the AH and start over this upcoming weekend (I'm in a good mood today). Stay tuned and check back here on Saturday!

It says on the server list that this is an official play server. Someone should change it to say test server so that people don't confused. Also I agree that a lot of gear should be earned, it would give players a feeling of accomplishment. Just my opinion.

As far as I know, the welcome message has always said "Welcome to the official DS test server!\Rev <number>". In some ways equipment and items do need to be earned -- it is why there is always a rush to land gods every time there is an server update.

lol, please don't do this. it's unfair earlier players bought up and stocked up on all the goodies.

"i got everything i needed from AH let's shut it down so new players have to work for it"

if anything, wipe out server and just restore players levels if anything or just start new like retail.
