AH restocking on official server

Hey gang. I'm new to the server (long time FFXI player) and I noticed that a lot of the big name items (leaping boots, k clubs, etc) are all bought out. Is there any plan to restock those items in the near future? Thanks and another thanks for this server. It's really great!

kinda wish there was a way to were when someone drops an item it automatically goes back to the AH.

it's a fine balancing act for me to keep this server going, let me tell ya. I reset the AH once and everyone made a mad dash for the good food items and the ones who weren't online for it just complained even more.

Sorry wasn't trying to refer to food but mainly weapons and amour. Leaping boot, kraken club, peacock charms, sniper ring etc etc. least with thoses you can really only carry one or two and not wipe out the AH. So that way the people who can't get on because of work and other RL things that may hold them up can enjoy game too.

Actually we have previously had an instance where someone was buying out krakken clubs and NPCing them. Clearly there are people out there who just want to piss others off or feel a sense of superiority for having bought something and then denying its use to everyone else.

Really not the kind of behavior that should be going on with a test server. Not sure what kind of approach could even be taken to fix that. Periodically resetting the entire server, but then people wouldn't play because they'd lose progress. Constantly restocking, but then people would get the best of the best and get bored and stop testing.

A shame people have to be spiteful and make things harder on everyone else.
