The spell cure can be use on all mobs

Not sure If that's retail like but I'am able to cure all mob but it actually has no effect on them other than it can be use to claim.

you can use cure on mobs in retail (and it will have no effect)

shouldn't claim though (or even aggro them pretty sure)

Unless it does damage (i.e. undead)
