Error 3001 - Solved
I have a brand new installation of the server and everything went through smoothly from beginning to end. The client appears to have installed perfectly as well. However, when I run Ashita, select my character and go to start the game, it sits on the "Downloading data" screen for about 30 seconds then gives me the following error:
Error code: FFXI-3001
No response from the FINAL FANTASY XI server.
Connection timed out.
Press OK to shut down.
I've deleted the sessions from the database and even deleted my account and made a new one. Can't get passed this screen. Any help or suggestions would be awesome.

Re: Error 3001 - Client Cannot Get Passed "Downloading data"
On the game server window do you see any attempt of the lobby server passing the connection to it?
Do you see any error or warning such as 'invalid key' or anything similar?

Re: Error 3001 - Solved
my question might be a bit special, but how you put a day zoneip? Note that I do not know if this is causing the problem.
Re: Error 3001 - Solved
Did you put your data folder copied from play online folder into the final fantasy folder, and make sure zoneip is set properly in the SQL ( for info on this refer to the server setup wiki)

Re: Error 3001 - Solved
So, data folder is copied in the folder final fantasy XI and the zoneip is configured in the Navicate Lite. But, the problem is always here.. I don't understand.

No, nothing special. Here's what I see when I run the server via ashita client.

He means do you see any errors on your DSGameServer window (the one with the blue crystal icon), not Ashita.
