Some more testing with latest from svn.
- Crashed server on zoning into Lower Jeuno. Seems like the CS trigger never happens and your player gets stuck.
- setplayerlevel <name> 99 and then dying results in deleveling to 0. (From 99.)
Attempting to rezone myself again made the server crash.

With the NPC table fixed up in r2196 your CS issue should be fixed.

I don't seem to see a download option anywhere, and trying to help my friend get back on who started yesterday.

So now it's up to my server to update their client before he can play then, or is there another fix possible?

The packet structure used by the latest version of the FFXI client is different. The server doesn't understand what the client is saying, and the client doesn't understand what the server is saying (which usually crashes the client.)

i know each update is different but do you guys have a normal turn around time for getting things up and running again ?
