Build_100 Error
Build_100 Error
Can someone help me fix this? When my friends try to connect, they're getting Build_100 error. My server used to work properly a couple months ago, but when i decided to run it again, it won't let people connect. I forward the ports correctly, and have the correct zone-ip as well. What am i doing wrong? Can someone check and see if you can connect to see if its them and maybe not me?
My server ip is: 75.85.76.25

Connects fine but game crashes. Looks like your game might be out of date.

Re: Build_100 Error
How do i update it? And what do i update? The computer running the server doesn't have ffxi installed, i use another computer to prevent it from crashing often. I also do the SVN Updates daily. What am i missing thoughnasomi wrote:Connects fine but game crashes. Looks like your game might be out of date.
Re: Build_100 Error
Means that their client or Ashita (if they use it) is outdated most likely.
Delete a random DAT file (for example, ROM\0\0.dat) and then run the Check Files in the normal PlayOnline client.
Be sure to select FINAL FANTASY XI as the target to update.

Thank you!

And this will make them able to connect to me? or is this for me to do? Because i connect fine, but players can't connect to me, and their ffxi is up to date.atom0s wrote:Means that their client or Ashita (if they use it) is outdated most likely.

It's for any of your players that are crashing when the game starts or during game play.HackGoDz wrote:And this will make them able to connect to me? or is this for me to do? Re: Build_100 Error
But the issue was, even players who had it installed correctly couldn't join. Do i have to update the server somehow? I update through SVN daily as well.atom0s wrote:It's for any of your players that are crashing when the game starts or during game play.HackGoDz wrote:And this will make them able to connect to me? or is this for me to do? Re: Build_100 Error
When you update your server you need to make sure that you update your SQL tables as well.HackGoDz wrote:But the issue was, even players who had it installed correctly couldn't join. Do i have to update the server somehow? I update through SVN daily as well.
Keep in mind when you do this you might overwrite your zone_ip in the SQL server and will need to fix that again.
