I've been able to play the game just fine until about an hour ago when i started to get this error so i looked it up and found out it's because i apparently don't have all the DLC's installed despite the fact that i do any ideas aside from reinstalling the entire game?
Edit: it was a issue with the src/maps folder so i just redownloaded it to fix the issue might be worth keeping this around so other people with the same issue can try this method see if it works
Error POL-0260

Re: Error POL-0260
I think you two are addressing two different issues.
The map files that nhlegg is pointing out is dat mods for the ffxi dats, while the maps Drinkie are pointing out is the server maps themselves. Two different maps, client vs. server.
It sounds like Drinkie was able to solve his problem by redownloading the maps from the DSP source.
However, I would like to note for anyone who reads this because of the heading name: I encountered this same POL error when connecting to an external DSP server. I found I was able to fix the connection issue by rebooting my PC that had the client on it. If this does not work however, you may need to contact the DSP server controller, as it could be a problem like Drinkie pointed out above.
