Post by Wannabc5 » Sat Oct 03, 2015 9:49 pm

Hey guys i transffered my server from one pc to a different one and when i go to connect to the server after updating it i have to create a new char. All backup files of the char info was added an when i log in its asking me to create a new character. How do i go about making my char dump info work?

You need a lot more than chars table. There's like 10 tables with a char_ prefix.

I was working with him on this, yes we backed up all account and character sql files. yet it shows all the characters in the database, when someone logs in there is no characters.

we got the characters back now. but for some reason after our latest pull, there are no monsters in game. and there is field books in place of mobs. gameserver is giving all kinds of errors for mob_skills.sql and mob_skills_list.sql

this happens when there's a DB error loading the character list (a column is missing, a table is missing, etc), and should be printed into the connect server log
