Hi!
I'm trying to get the windowed mode working, but it doesn't seem to work. Do I have to set something in the server in order to allow clients to log in windowed mode? I checked the option (Start in Windowed Mode) in my FFXI Config.

No, there shouldn't be anything server-side that affects windowed mode. That is entirely client-side. You can try using one of the windower modes on mXI instead of the windowed option if nothing else works.

make sure the settings in mxi or boot ini are same as in FFXI Config

Well, I guess I'm a lucky one. I found someone telling a guy how to correct the problem by correcting a registry key.
"Open your registry editor.
Go to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\PlayOnlineUS\SquareEnix\FinalFantasyXI
Double click (edit) the Name "0034."
Change the "Value data:" from 0 to 1.
Click OK and close out of registry editor."
Instead, I found the registry key at HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Classes\VirtualStore\MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\PlayOnlineUS\SquareEnix\FinalFantasyXI
I made the correction, and it works fine now.
