Two people on the same connection.

Post by xMudkips » Tue Aug 28, 2012 2:01 pm

Well, I'm not sure if one problem is worse than the other. But now and then only one of us will disconnect, and when it goes back to the character screen my fiancé will see MY character list, and visa versa.

That's about it though, and we both have to relog when one of us disconnects in order to solve this. Just want to post this as I'm assuming it can be considered a bug.

For the person that disconnects, completely close boot/mXI and wait for your character to time out from the roster (if you're playing on the official test server you can see it by going to http://46.38.63.32/roster.php), then connect again and you should be OK.

In general, its just safer to use /shutdown instead of /logout on set-ups like this. It doesn't take very long to boot the game back up since you are bypassing the annoying POL Viewer.

Oddly enough, I miss the POL Viewer music sometimes.

I'm actually posting here because this has happened to me without dual boxing. I used /logout and when I hit select character I saw Kegs' character list while he was logged in.
