DRG- Dragoon Class bugs
It seems like DRG is working well. There are two issues that i have noticed. First the pet does not display a chosen name it displays as wyvern. The Second the Jump ability doesnt work properly and it looks like a heart hug or a carebear stair which i find completely hysterical.
Re: DRG- Dragoon Class bugs
That I think is actually a Charm animation. Someone's working on Jumps (I can't remember who), and today I posted a patch to the forum that lets Stoneskin eat damage from Spirit Link. But after some fooling around testing Spirit Link, it really feels like the wyvern's stats are WAY off. ACC and max HP in particular just feel wrong.
I know a DRG75 wyvern isn't meant to tank, but 4 hits shouldn't kill it.

The DRG jump is for sure not a charm animation.
I can tell you that from years of playing beastmaster >_>
It looks closer to one of the magian moogle animations when you complete one of the trials and do a turn in.
Or maybe one of the unique WS animations in the later WoTG missions. I remember Lilisette using an array of obnoxious looking skills. It's been a few years since I played ffxi on retail but I vaguely remember some heart attack in one of the WoTG missions.
On another note, I wonder if it would be a good idea to make a thread just to identify incorrect animations.
I was messing around on thief the other day and the steal animation is currently set to the animation for the dancer ability "Desperate Flourish"

I didn't mean BST Charm, I was thinking Belly Dance. Though Magian does make that seem more familiar.

yar, I'm not so sure it's magian, I can try to search some videos of wings of the goddess missions later.
I have this nagging feeling its a custom animation for Lilisette for some reason.
Here is a video of Belly Dance from besieged. It's not the greatest video but It gets the basic idea of the animation across.
You can see Lamia 15 using belly dance at 3:54
Video starts at 3:52

Re: DRG- Dragoon Class bugs
Steal/Mug, Bashes, Jumps, Dances, and potentially SCH abilities either use a completely different job animation system, or they use animation IDs greater than 255. You'll have to talk to core coders to find out if anyone even knows how to make them work.
Signed: The guy that checked all of the animation IDs to be certain.
P.S. -- For fun, Jump also has entirely separate animations depending on the weapon(s) being used. And Jump has so many tiny exceptions and behavior changes based on gear that it's a bit of a pain.
