Can't connect to game

I completely wiped the database. I was able to create character, log in with it. I logged out with it. When trying to logging again I received the "packet or invalid key" error message but I restarted servers and was able to log in again. I'm now thinking there was something broken with my previous sql tables? Is that possible?
