Can't launch the game (don't know what to do)

Post by VELZZ » Thu Jul 24, 2014 1:09 pm

Ok, so I downloaded and installed the game, I also downloaded and try to use the ashita v2 boot, but the boot instead of launching the game it launches playonline.
I'm new to this so please have patience whit me :(
I really don't know anything about how to launch the game or where to type in the server, nothing, I really don't know from where to start.
All I wanted was to play FFXI so I downloaded it, but I never thought it'll be this hard... Can anybody please help?

Did you go through the wiki for setting up the client?
https://wiki.dspt.info/index.php/Config ... our_Client

You should first try going through that, step by step, and then if you still cannot get it to work, post a question.

If you are booting into PlayOnline you are not selecting the proper configuration. You need to use the Private Server configuration. But keep in mind you do need to edit the connection string in the boot command before you can connect to a server!
