Gallant's roll seems to have changed in 2012 from a blaze-spikes-like effect to flat physical damage reduction, the blaze-spikes-like effect seems to have reflected a percentage of incoming physical damage back towards the attacker. The current DSP Github has Gallant's Roll as a flat physical damage reduction modifier.
I wasn't sure if this was something that should be recoded to reflect the early iteration or not. Thanks for all the hard work you guys have been doing over the years!
